Lilly drogerie bought Rakovica-based DMB - A total of 20 million euros for purchase and new production start

Lilly drogerie company bought DMB Rakovica plant in order to expand and develop its business, it is said Friday, July 6th.

After the difficult industry, sophisticated production, much more convenient for urban and populated area, will be operated in the factory.

The investment for the overall DMB Rakovica project total 20 million euros which includes both the amount the factory was bought for and planned investments in equipment and rehabilitation of facilities expected in the next couple of years.

In line with the business development, purchase of the complex such as DMB Rakovica presents logical development direction which will additionally enable and modernize production by medical devices and dietary preparations.

The industrial basin in Rakovica will regain the place of productive commercial area whose activities will not pollute the environment and jeopardize citizens’ lives by dangerous gas emission since the alignment of all environmental standards come first in the factory complex reconstruction plan, as said in the statement.

Within Lilly drogerie, as of 2006, Lilly drug stores with a very wide range of medicals, medical devices and medical cosmetics, have also been available to consumers. Recently, galenic preparations produced in Lilly galenic laboratory have also been available.

As added, total number of Lilly drogerie shops reached 123, 112 of which have drugstores. Lilly drogerie shops employ 1.800 staff and operate in line with ISO quality standards.

Three years ago, the company decided to enter the countries in the region. Therefore, it stepped onto the Bulgarian market. At the moment, there are 17 retail outlets operating and it is planning to open four more b the end of 2012.
