Ivanjica to Get Sports Center on 42,000 m2, Tender for Second Phase Published – Track and Field Stadium, Pools, Three Basketball Courts and Other Features to Be Built (PHOTO)

The Municipality of Ivanjica has published the tender for the procurement of the works on the construction of a sports center in that place. This is the second phase of the works, whose value has been estimated at RSD 25 million.

The works in the second phase encompass the construction of a sports field and a fence on two sides of the sport field.

According to the project prepared by Atelje Milutinovic from Ivanjica, two units are planned. The first phase entails the construction of a parking lot with a sidewalk and a fence toward V. Marinkovica Street. The second unit (phase) consists of the construction of three basketball courts, with a fence on a concrete base. The height of the fence varies between 200 and 300 cm (in line with the decline of the courts).

The construction of three basketball courts with the necessary equipment is planned in phase two, and the plan also includes the setting up street furniture (benches and baskets). The court will be lit by four floodlights.

The plan includes the setting up of a drinking fountain behind the courts, as well as paving with interlocking concrete pavers.

According to the documentation, the deadline for the execution of the works is 50 calendar days from the possession of the site, and the contractor provides a two-year guarantee for the works from the date of the handing over.

The Municipality of Ivanjica previously also published the urban project for the construction of a sports and recreation center. The project was prepared by Studio Linea from Gornji Milanovac.

The total area of the complex in Jelica Polje is 42,060 m2.

The project envisages the following sports and recreation facilities within the complex: a football stadium with six tracks, stands, a facility for the needs of sports clubs, outdoor pools, a large pool, a small pool, a side facility on the pool, an outdoor gym, a tartan track, tennis courts, a children’s playground, a universal playground, basketball courts, a side football field, cafes and outdoor seating areas within the facilities, as well as side facilities.
