The Tourism Organization of Serbia (TOS) is opening the New Year with presentations at three international tourism fairs, at which it continues actively promoting the tourism offer of Serbia, the press release says.

At the moment, it is participating in the CMT fair in Stuttgart (Germany), where it is presenting the entire tourism offer of Serbia, and the final preparations for the presentation at the FITUR fair, which is to be held between January 18 and 22 in Madrid (Spain), are also in progress.

CMT Stuttgart (January 14 through 22) is the most visited tourism fair meant for the general audience. It gathers over 250,000 visitors, more than 2,000 exhibitors from 100 countries and over 1,500 media representatives.

The TOS stand will present the total tourism offer of Serbia, from cultural-historical monuments, short vacations in cities, numerous events, the rich offer of the Danube, including the Danube cycling route, through an active vacation in the nature, combined with village tourism, camping and caravaning as a new manner of adventure travel, to gastronomy and fine dining.

This will also be an opportunity for the Danube Competence Center (DCC), as well as representatives of the local organizations TO Zlatibor, TO Vojvodina, TO Novi Sad, TO Belgrade, TO Cacak, TO Subotica and TO Indjija, to present their offer during the nine days of the fair within the TOS stand.

That German tourists have recognized the quality of Serbia as a travel destination is confirmed by the data that, based on the statistics, from the first 11 months of 2022, the number of overnight stays of German tourists in Serbia reached 229,036 (+76%), which has already exceeded the number of overnight stays from the record-setting year 2019, it is pointed out. Also, the number of arrivals of tourists from this part of Europe increased 87% (100,561), which puts German tourists into the third spot (after Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro).
