The Belgrade Beer, Malt and Non-Alcoholic Beverages Industry (BIP) has changed its predominant business activity, so instead of producing beer, it will engage in leasing intellectual property, copyrights and related rights, the Business Registers Agency (APR) announced in the latest report by Nova ekonomija.

The new activity includes leasing products that are protected by intellectual property rights, with the exception of books and software, as well as receiving fees for the use of trademarks, patents, rights to exploit and explore ore deposits and franchise agreements.

The company will no longer be a joint stock company, but a limited liability company (LLC).

BIP was privatized in August last year, when it was bought by the company Auto Čačak for RSD 2.09 billion.
