Synchronization of Two Gas Turbines of TE-TO Pancevo Finished – Commissioning of Steam Turbine Planned for January 2022

Gazprom Energoholding Serbia has announced that the synchronization of two gas turbines of the thermal power/heating plant (TE-TO) Pancevo has been finished and that the commissioning of the steam turbine is planned for January 2022.

It is said that, on November 10-11, the preparations for the commissioning of the gas turbine no. 2 were being done and that the works were completed with a successful synchronization of the turbine to the transfer network of the operator Elektromreza Srbije.

– The gas turbine no. 2 had an initial load of 7 MW. The activities on the blowing through with steam, for the purposes of cleaning the internal surfaces of the steam pipeline within the system of the boiler-utilizer no. 2, went on without a pause – the announcement says.

It is added that, on November 27, the generator of the gas turbine no. 1 was successfully synchronized.

– The synchronization of the generators of the gas turbines is one of the phases of the commissioning of TE-TO Pancevo, which enables moving on to the next phase, which entails activities on the preparation for putting the steam turbine into operation. The commissioning of the steam turbine is planned for January 2022 – the press release concludes.
