Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Serbia to Get Sector for Economic Diplomacy

By the end of May, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Serbia should get, for the first time, the sector of economic diplomacy, minister Nikola Selakovic announced and added that it was very important for Serbia’s further economic progress, the government announced.

In a statement for Tanjug, Selakovic explained that it was a special organizational unit within the ministry, which would deal with those issues.

Talking about the modernization and digitization of the services of diplomatic-consular representations, the minister announced the implementation of a new portal – eConsulate, which should, initially, enable an electronic submission of requests for a certain type of visas for the entry to Serbia.
