The Privatization Agency has postponed the sale of "Genex Tower" in Belgrade today (February 11, 2009) until March 27th. This building is owned by company "Generalexport".
The auction for sale of "Genex Tower" was scheduled for February 20th, and the starting price amounted to 20.8m EUR.
The deadline for submission of applications for participation in the auction, along with the guarantee worth 2.1m EUR, is March 19th. The buyer can pay the price in six installments, and he will be obliged to keep 61 employees in "Genex Tower".
Total surface of "Genex Tower" is 15,879 square meters, and the equipment in that facility is also for sale.
The Privatization Agency has, so far, sold part of the property of "Generalexport", which is in restructuring, and that property included
hotel "Continental", "Genex
suites", plant and tennis hall in Belgrade, as well as hotel "Grand" and suite complex "Sunčani vrhovi" on Kopaonik mountain.
