Minal Europe Green Material submitted a request to the Ministry of Environmental Protection for an environmental impact assessment procedure for the construction of the automotive industry complex. It concerns the second phase of investments, during which the construction of auto parts production complex will be built. The gross area of all facilities for the II phase is 16,645.76 m2.

The site in question covers a total area of 91,354 m2, and Minal plans to build a complex consisting of: production facility-hall, substation, compressor facility, pumping station, tank for hydrant and technical water, container storage, two porters, smoking pavilion, water tank, a platform for a diesel generator, a water shaft, a platform for a measuring and regulation station, a foundation for a filter and a truck scale.

The complex is defined in such way, that the main building - the production hall, holds a central position, while all the supporting facilities are planned in the northern part of the complex, except for the porter's offices, which are positioned in the western area of the complex, in front of the main hall.

Within the complex, plan calls for 4 larger and several smaller parking spaces along the internal roads. The total number of parking spaces within the complex is 353, out of which 10 parking spaces are reserved for people with disabilities.

Free areas within the complex are planned for greening and landscaping, i.e. grassy areas with mostly shrubbery.

The size of the production hall is 163x107m. The facility is one-story and divided into two basic functional units: the production floor and an area for auxiliary facilities of general purpose.

The layout of the area in the production floor includes an aluminum melting furnace section, an aluminum ingot casting section, a heat treatment section, an automatic stacking section, and a section for cutting finished products.

According to the function of the main facility - the entire production hall is divided into several functional areas (zones) that represent the stages in the production of aluminum logs (ingots).

The preparation of the Request for determining the scope and content of the environmental impact assessment study was entrusted to the company ECOlogica URBO DOO from Kragujevac.
