Book Fair Sees 163,616 Visitors and 1,200 Journalists

Precisely 163,616 visitors were registered at the 65th International Belgrade Book Fair, which was held between October 23 and 30, 2022. A total of 416 direct exhibitors (325 local ones and 91 foreign ones) took part in the fair, whereas the total number of the participants it encompassed, aside from direct and indirect exhibitors, and the represented companies was 854.

The fair was held on over 30,000 m2 of gross exhibit space, 525 programs were held, organized by the Belgrade Book Fair and the exhibitors, and 4 exhibitions were presented, says the announcement of the Belgrade Fair.

In addition to exhibitors from Serbia, the fair also saw exhibitors from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Republika Srpska, Russia, Croatia, Montenegro, Italy, China, Iran, Belarus, Switzerland, Morocco, India, Germany, Poland, Egypt and Hungary.

Romania presented itself in the role of the honorary guest at the 65th International Belgrade Book Fair.

The exhibitors of the year, the publishing endeavor of the year, the children’s book of the year, the best exhibitors from the diaspora, special acknowledgments for contributions in the field of science, special acknowledgments for a publisher, book or comic book, the most beautiful book, the most beautiful children’s book and the special acknowledgment for a young book designer were all pronounced at the fair.


The 65th International Belgrade Book Fair was followed by over 1,200 journalists, cameramen and photo journalists from electronic, printed and online media, accredited for following the event.

Media houses and reporters from North Macedonia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Romania, Slovenia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Japan, Russia, China, Germany, France and Austria were also present at the fair.
