The sixth French-Serbian Film Meetings will be held from December 1-3, as part of the Auteur Film Festival, which takes place between November 26 and December 3. The meetings are organized by the French Institute, MegaCom Film, the Film Center of Serbia, the Ministry of Culture and Information and the Association for the Distribution of Independent Cinema (ACID).

Belgrade will host French film experts, who will share their experiences with their Serbian colleagues when it comes to filming practices, whereas representatives of the Young Ambassadors initiative, the Serbian Cinemas Network, the LUX cinema and ACID will organize a workshop with the topic of the development of a young audience, according to the website of the Film Center.

The well-known French audio engineer Bruno Tarriere will speak in front of a Serbian audience about his cooperation with eminent directors (Besson, Farhadi, Kusturica, Golubovic and others), whereas Jean-Noel Christiani, the director of Ateliers Varan, will share his vision of documentary cinema.

The French-Serbian Film Meetings will also be an opportunity for the school and center of contemporary art Le Fresnoy, the funds Aide aux cinemas du monde and La Fabrique Cinema, and the results of the workshop dedicated to French-Serbian co-productions, recently held in Paris, to be presented to Serbian film experts.

In addition to Kombank Dvorana, all the panels can be followed through Zoom links as well.

Furthermore, within the festival, 28 French films will be screened, among them A Corsican Summer by Pascal Tagnati and Soy Libre by Laure Portier, which were selected by ACID. In addition to Belgrade, Soy Libre will also be included in the programs in Novi Sad (November 29) and Gornji Milanovac (November 30), whereas A Corsican Summer will also visit Nis (November 29).
