Thermal Power Plant in Pancevo to be Tested by End-Year

The deputy prime minister and minister of mining and energy of Serbia, Zorana Mihajlovic, talked today with Kirill Tyurdenev, the CEO of NIS, about the current and potential projects in energy. When it comes to the project of the construction of the Thermal Power/Heating Plant Pancevo (TE-TO Pancevo), it was said that the action plan envisaged the finalization by the end of the year, when the plant is expected to be tested as well.

Other topics at the meeting included the development of Petrohemija following its privatization, in line with new technologies, the cooperation on new projects and the realization of the existing investment projects at the Pancevo refinery and the question of storing mandatory oil reserves.
