Average net salary in Serbia in December 2015 at RSD 51,485

Average net salary in Serbia in December 2015 amounted to RSD 51,485, nominally up 16.6% and really up 16.87% from the previous month, the Republic Statistical Office (RSO) announced in a release today.
According to the release, average net salary in December 2015 grew 3% nominally and 1.5% really from December 2014.
When it comes to average gross salary, it stood at RSD 70,763 last December, nominally up 16.2% and really up 16.4% from November. On a year-over-year basis, average gross salary paid in December 2015 grew 2.9% nominally and 1.4% really.
In the period January-December 2015, average gross salary dropped 0.5% nominally and 2.4% really against the comparative period in 2014, while last year's average net salary was decreased 0.2% nominally and 2.1% really from the previous year, the RSO said in the release.
