A bypass will be built around Basaid and Melenci - Project designer needed

PE Roads of Serbia has announced a tender for the preparation of planning and technical documentation for the construction of a 12 km long bypass around the communities of Basaid and Melenci.

As stated in the tender documentation, with the construction of bypasses around the towns of Basaid and Melenci, the plans calls for relocation of part of the route of the IB state road number 13 (formerly M 24), in order to relocate transit from the said towns.

- The construction of this part of the road creates conditions for better accessibility of the entire area, increasing its competitiveness, as well as the future development of Basaid and Melenci - the program project states.

The value of the work is estimated at RSD 37.5 million.
